I love learning languages! So far, I can speak: English, Catalan, Spanish and I am now learning Slovenian. How many languages do you speak? Which ones? Which ones would you like to learn?

Language Families

Did you know that languages have families, just like people? These languages are related, which means some words in them sound very alike, like Spanish and Italian, or English and German.

Basque is the only non Indo-European language in Europe. That means it’s really old. And really cool! In the Basque region they call it Euskera.

    I guess I wasn’t paying attention during French class. πŸ˜…

    And Spanish is on the top of my list of languages to learn!

    And looking at your second table, Yoruba is my native language. πŸ˜ƒ

  2. Wow, Benji! You are 7 YEARS OLD?! And you learn so many languages! I know how to speak English, French, Mandarin, and a tiny bit of Spanish!
