Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of the oldest theme parks in Britain. It was founded in 1896 and has been owned by the same family ever since. Today I will tell you about my day in Blackpool and some fun facts about the rides.
My Visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The first ride that I went on was the Flying Machines This is the oldest ride in Blackpool founded in 1904 The planes are newer than that I rate this ride 8.5 out of 10.
Next we went on the Alice in Wonderland ride. And I rate this 9.5 out of 10. I liked the rabbit who said ‘I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!’ and I liked riding in a Cheshire Cat!
Next the Ghost Train: this is a very old ride it was founded in 1930 and was the first real ghost train in the world. And it is haunted by Cloggy’s Ghost. My mammy saw the real Cloggy when she was little! I rate this ride 10 out of 10! Recommended!
Next up was THE BIG DIPPER and It was founded in 1923 and I rate this ride 10 out of 10! Recommended!
Next was GRAND NATIONAL Recommended! in this ride, you are in a race against another rollercoaster, it is very exciting and you fly out of your seat in the dips!!! We were on the FRONT SEAT!
The Nickelodeon Streak was not as good as the dips were not as big. 7 out of 10.
Other Recommended Rides
Wallace and Grommit thrill-0-matic: this is a dark ride with lots of scenes from the Wallace and Grommit movies and it is lots of fun!
River Caves: this is a boat ride which takes you all around the world, from Egypt to India and the North Pole. It is one of the oldest rides in the Pleasure Beach dating from 1905!
I hope I will be tall enough to go on The Big One: this is the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the Pleasure Beach. I also want to go on Revolution as it goes backwards and upside down!
What is your favourite amusement park? What is the best ride you have been on? Let me know!
